Ep. 185 - A Wet Nightmare

Hello lovelies, welcome back to 50 PLUS A TIP Podcast! 💕

Firstly, shout out to the fabulous listeners who come up and say hi to Danica & Riley in public - it’s easy to forget that they’re not just yapping to one other and it is so lovely to meet you guys! 


On this week’s episode of 50 PLUS A TIP Podcast, we get caught up with Danica and her first 3 weeks post-Australia move which has included a 31 hour travel day and a hair colour change. Happily situated, she’s been making the most of her new location with escape rooms, lagree classes and Fleetwood Mac cover bands. 🤘🏽 

On the other side of the world, Riley has started her bookkeeping course with a surprisingly supportive teacher, while putting in the work hours and meeting some certifiably hospitable characters 🏥 


The hosts go on to discuss some random thoughts involving partners wanting to follow your work ig and the novel downward curved d*ck. Followed by a recap of your Instagram responses to an earlier post from a listener email regarding ENM (ethical non monogamy). The ladies then share listener submissions on the Instagram poll: “Best advice you’ve been given / would give to new Swers” and share their own inclusions. Danica is a sarcastic, straightforward, sex-postive feminist with a passion for topics that some may consider “taboo.” With a psychology degree under her belt, a public speaker/ university guest lecturer, a devoted sex workers advocate and a successful career as an exotic dancer - she knows some stuff!

Danica lives her life by two philosophies: 1) it’s better to have a life of “oh well”s than “what if”s and 2) be unapologetically you! Her years of experience as a sex worker have given her a passion and drive to do what she can to eliminate the dangerous stigma that currently surrounds the sex industry. She is confident that sharing her stories as an active sex worker can do just that - show women (and men) that they can own their sexuality proudly (and sometimes even profit off of it)!
